Hey, let's try for a better post this time.
Internet at the school has just been crazy and then since it takes so long for us to get it working our laptop batteries are almost dead. It's just been crazy. Now we're at an Internet Cafe down the street from the Duomo before school starts - 15 minutes for .50€. Buon. However, there is an Italian keyboard which is just funky compared to American!
We're going to the Santa Croce today with the class which should be interesting. It's on the other side of town from our apartment. Yuck. We've also got a cooking class tonight - fresh pizza, fresh pasta, and panna cotta. Yum.
We went exploring last night with a couple of other girls from class. We went down to the Arno, the Oltrarno, and the Ponte Vecchio, then made our way over to the Uffizi and Piazza della Signoria/Palazzo Vecchio. We got some gelato down at Ponte Vecchio - I thought of you Daddy when I ate it!! I've got lots of pictures, however, those are all on my laptop and I didn't bring it to class today so I can't upload any.

Someone told me today that Anna Staples is in Florence studying this summer also. The program she's in sounds a lot like yours. Could it be that two PHS grads are there at the same time???
The cooking class sounds wonderful. Can't wait for you to cook for the moms when you get back!
You know that you will have to cook me dinner when you get back!! hahaha! Sounds like you are having a great time! I miss you bunches!!!! Keep updating so I can live vicariously through you (don't know if that is spelt right :)) Love you girl!
