Oh wow. Yeah. It's been a while since I've updated this thing.
School started back this past Wednesday. It's my last undergraduate semester! If I'm lucky it won't be my last semester of school and I'll get accepted to graduate school at Texas Tech. I did some work on that over Christmas break though. I sent in my Texas Common App for the Graduate School, sent in my Museum Science app, my Statement of Purpose, work history, scholarship apps, and college transcripts. I only have two things left: recommendation forms and GRE scores. I've made one appointment with a professor on Tuesday to give him a form and then e-mailed another professor about meeting with her to give her a form. And I'm scheduled to take the GRE on January 27th. It's all coming together!! I'm excited. Hopefully I'll be in Lubbock in the fall, fingers crossed.
Classes though will be easy this semester. I'm taking four classes, and two of them are intro level courses. I only have three papers to write this semester for my History of Middle Ages class, and each of those papers is only a 3-4 page book review. So completely different from last semester. Last semester I had one 10 pager, a 15 pager, and three 5 pagers. So this semester looks tons better. I'm excited about the subjects though on three of my four classes: History of the Middle Ages, History of Ancient Egypt and the Near East, and Greek and Roman Mythology. Very excited.
I'm happy with how things are going. I just hope that it stays this way...

Congratulations for getting it done in four years. That doesn't happen often anymore. Good luck wiht Grad school. It would be great to have you back in Texas! (I haven't updated my blog in quite a while...thanks for the reminder!)
I am so proud of you! I think your graduation in May will call for a road trip to Alabama so we can celebrate.
