I'm nosy.
I get nosy when I drive around on campus. I see some people and I want to know their story. Most of the time I make up a story to go with what I see. Like this girl that I saw walking along the Quad this morning. She was dresssed for class, carrying her backpack, but she was also carrying a pillow. Is her class so boring that she takes a pillow to class because she knows she'll fall asleep? Is she a Psych major (she was walking towards that side of campus) and working on a sleep study today? Did she not sleep at home last night and prepare for that fact by taking a pillow with her? I could make up so many stories. It's something that Mom, James and I do a lot. Drives Daddy crazy.

Oh - HAHAHAHA!! I'm sitting here by myself laughing out loud in front of my computer! Sammie came in from the hallway to see what was going on!!
It does drive Daddy crazy when we do that, doesn't it?!?
My verification word down there is "blexatto." For some reason, that also strikes me as funny! It's probably what pillow girl said when she woke up this morning. :-P
I do this while I am at the mall. Now that I am a mom, I find myself watching Moms with toddlers to see if maybe they are pros that can teach me something. If they seem to be having a tough time with their kid, I make a back story for them in my mind to explain it. I wonder what people think about me in those random situations?
Give the girl in the Quad a break! After my recent physical issues and surgeries, I can totally understand carrying a pillow to sit on. I'll admit that I don't share your family's facination with making up stories, but recently I've started wondering just who all of those people are talking to on their cell phones.
