Easter Sunday Reflections

Last night and today have, so far, been a major 'I wish I could do go back in time and make a different decision' time for me.

What would I change? My class choices. I would not be taking The Middle Ages if I could do this over again.

The reason for this? Look at my plans for the day: read my Bible, think about the amazing glory of God on this Easter Sunday, and then do my Middle Ages class reading about the corruption of the Church which includes vivid descriptions of the Crusades and the atrocities committed in the name of the Lord and the Church.

I don't like it. I really don't like the ideas and events that I have to read about today of all days.

Maybe it's good to read the Word and then remember how we as humans can pervert His purpose which is to draw EVERYONE to Him. Even today we get so polarized by our differences in the details that we tend to forget that the only thing that is really important is Jesus Christ, Him crucified, and His resurrection. Good luck in your reading :)
