A Beautiful Lie

I have a new quote that did not make it onto my Twitter feed. Mainly because it's 1:30 in the morning and I can't sleep so I'm updating this blog.
"Is it wrong to trust in a beautiful lie if it helps you get through life?"
- A Complicated Kindness, Miriam Toews
I have found this awesome blog/website: Fuck Yeah, Literary Quotes, which is where tonight's quote came from. They have been giving me an awesome daily dose of quotes from all kinds of books. They update multiple times throughout the day, so it's not just a quote a day type website.

H.G. Wells

The continuation of today's Twitter quote:
"Looking at these stars suddenly dwarfed my own troubles and all the gravities of terrestrial life. I thought of their unfathomable distance, and the slow inevitable drift of their movements out of the unknown past into the unknown future."
H.G. Wells, The Time Machine

And yes, the author of this quote does make me think of Warehouse 13, why do you ask?

Quotes

If you follow me on Twitter one of the things you'll notice is that I like to update with quotes or lyrics that I run across that day. Some of the quotes are only partial ones, like the one today. So here's the full quote:

"The past can be forgotten, but it cannot be ignored. At some point it is a part of who you are, and a part of who you will become. The past is always right behind you. Watching. Waiting. For the moment to come rushing back. When you least expect it." - LXD narrator

I've gotten hooked on this new web-series called LXD (The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers) that's on Hulu every Wednesday. It's this awesome 10-ish minute long crazy dance show with a plot. I'm not sure where the plot is going so far, but the dancing is freaking awesome.
